Olfa L5-AL 18mm Rubber Grip Cutter

The Olfa L5-AL is an 18mm snap-off blade cutter from the X-design ComfortGrip series, with an Auto-Lock blade lock, a wraparound grip and a built-in metal pick (manufacturer-stated).

Olfa makes the grip from elastomer on glass-fibre-reinforced polypropylene, which it says helps apply force without slipping, and states the handle is resistant to acetone and acid (manufacturer-stated). The Auto-Lock locks the blade firmly with a single touch.

It comes preloaded with an LBB ultra-sharp black snap-off blade, which Olfa says has a sharper grinding angle than its standard silver blade, and the blade channel is stainless steel. Olfa describes the metal pick as useful for packing, unpacking and opening paint cans (manufacturer-stated).
