Selecting the right option
Choose the tyre size for the load and the ground you travel over, then match the bore ID to your axle. Wheels listed "with reducing bush" are supplied for a smaller axle size through a reducing bush on the 1 in bearing (manufacturer-stated); confirm the fit with AIMS. EHI rates pneumatic wheels as follows: excellent shock absorbency and floor protection, fair load capacity, poor push effort and good durability. It suits outdoor, irregular or unsealed surfaces and gives the highest resilience. Load capacity is shown per wheel (manufacturer-stated). For castors on a four wheel trolley EHI recommends each castor is rated for at least 35 percent of the total load, which is the weight of the trolley plus what it carries (manufacturer-stated).
