Saber 8020-S3 3 Piece Carbide Burr Set

The Saber 8020-S3 is a 3 piece tungsten carbide burr set with 1/4" heads on 1/4" shanks. It has an SB-1 cylindrical with end cut burr, an SC-1 cylindrical ball nose burr and an SF-1 tree radius nose burr. The small heads suit fabricators, toolmakers and maintenance fitters who work in tighter spots.

Each burr is tungsten carbide with a 1/4" shank. These are express cut (double cut) burrs: general purpose burrs made for rapid stock removal and better operator control, with smaller chips and lower tool speeds than standard cut burrs. They suit carbon steel, cast iron, high strength steel, stainless steel, steel castings, steel welds, titanium alloy and fibreglass composite. Harder materials need slower speeds, smaller burrs need faster speeds and long shank burrs need slower speeds for safety. Use constant movement and light pressure, and do not sink the burr for more than one third of its periphery. The 3 piece 8020-S2 is the same three shapes in 3/8" heads, and the 5 piece 8020-S1 adds two 1/2" burrs.
