Forged to ASTM A105, dimensionally precise and Carbon steel forged to ASTM A105 covers general utility, water and yard piping where stainless is not required. Screwed flanges suit applications where welding is impractical or where the line needs to be unscrewed for service. As a screwed flange (category-derived) on ANSI Class 300 piping, it bolts straight onto existing mating flanges without an adaptor or transition piece.
