Galmet® Spray Paint Primer is a fast-dry, easy-sanding metal primer that provides the base coat under Galmet® Spraypaint enamel topcoats. Formulated for strong adhesion across a wide range of metal surfaces, it preps ferrous and non-ferrous metals, hot-dip galvanised steel, aluminium and stainless steel ready for a durable finish.

Selecting the right option
Prepare the surface first — remove loose rust, scale and contamination, and degrease where needed. Choose Grey for use under light topcoat colours, or Red where a traditional primer tone is preferred. Apply in light, even coats holding the can around 25cm from the surface, and recoat within the 4-hour window for the best bond to the Spraypaint topcoat.
