The Sutton D131 Shortie panel drill is a single-ended high speed steel drill with a bright finish and a 135° self-centring point, developed to drill rivet holes in flat and curved panels in sheet metal fabrication. It comes as a carded 2 pack, in 4 sizes from Ø3.18 mm to Ø4.9 mm.
The self-centring point minimises wandering when starting, and the flute is designed for shallow holes no deeper than 1.25 × the drill diameter.
