Sutton H112 SS1 Impact Arbor Holesaw - Suits 14-30 mm - 1/2 in UNF - 1/4in Hex

The Sutton H112 SS impact arbor has a 1/4 in hex shank for impact drivers and quick change chucks, in two sizes: the SS1 for 14 to 30 mm holesaws (1/2 in UNF thread) and the SS2 for 32 to 60 mm holesaws (5/8 in UNF thread).

The self locating drive pins are designed for a stronger torque and driving action, and the thread pattern is made to the international standard to fit holesaws with a 1/2 in UNF or 5/8 in UNF thread. The hex shank is designed to give a positive drive with no slippage in the chuck. Each arbor takes a 6.35 mm (1/4 in) pilot drill.

Using the product

• Match the arbor thread (1/2 in UNF or 5/8 in UNF) to the holesaw before fitting.
• Fit the pilot drill so it protrudes beyond the holesaw teeth, to set the centre of the hole.
• Check the chuck is tight and the arbor is running true before starting the cut.
• Start at a low speed and keep the drill square to the work. Use cutting fluid when cutting steel.
