Cut Clean Holes Every Time with Professional Hole Saws and Annular Cutters
Whether you’re cutting through mild steel, stainless, hardened plate or timber, the right hole saw delivers a clean, dimensionally accurate hole with minimal material removal. AIMS Industrial stocks over 130 hole saws and accessories covering bi-metal, TCT (tungsten carbide tipped), cobalt, carbide and high-speed steel annular cutter designs for construction, fabrication, electrical, plumbing and industrial maintenance applications across Australia.
We stock hole saws from Sutton Tools, Bordo, P&N, Pferd, Saber and Euroboor — specialist cutting tool brands covering the full range of hole cutting requirements.
The Hole Saws & Accessories Range
Our range is built around the hole saw types and materials most commonly required on Australian construction, fabrication and maintenance sites.
- Sutton Tools Hole Saws: Sutton Tools is the largest brand in the range with over 47 SKUs. The range includes the H125 Bi-Metal Cobalt Holesaw for general metal and stainless cutting, the H119 Impact Bi-Metal HSS Holesaw for use with impact drivers, the H128 Carbide Tipped Holesaw for hardened materials, the H117 TCT Holesaw (25mm), the H113 TCT Pro Holesaw Kit (19mm to 75mm, with arbor and pilot drill) and the H105 Bi-Metal Cobalt Heavy Duty Holesaw (14mm to 152mm). The H180 Annular Cutter in High Speed Steel (HSS) and impact arbors (H112) complete the Sutton hole saw accessory offering.
- Bordo Hole Saws: Bordo offers many holesaw options, including the HSS Cobalt Bi-Metal Holesaw for steel, stainless and non-ferrous metals and the XP TCT Tungsten Carbide Holesaw for harder materials where bi-metal teeth wear too quickly. Bordo hole saws are available in a comprehensive size range suitable for electrical, plumbing, HVAC and structural applications.
- P&N Hole Saws: P&N hole saws offer an Australian-brand option across a wide size range, with bi-metal construction suited to general-purpose cutting in timber, thin metal and building board applications.
- Pferd, Saber & Euroboor: Pferd hole saws with precision-ground teeth for clean cuts in metal. Saber hole saws and Euroboor annular cutters round out the range, with Euroboor specialising in magnetic drill annular cutters for structural steel fabrication and site work.
Choosing the Right Hole Saw for Your Material and Application
Hole saw selection depends on the material being cut, the required diameter and the cutting tool being used.
- Bi-Metal vs TCT vs Annular: Bi-metal hole saws (HSS with cobalt-enhanced teeth) are the most versatile and cost-effective option for cutting mild steel, thin stainless and timber. TCT (tungsten carbide tipped) hole saws are suited to harder or abrasive materials where bi-metal teeth wear rapidly. Annular cutters remove only the outer ring of material (not the full disc), making them faster and more efficient for thick metal plate cutting on magnetic drill presses.
- Impact vs Standard: Impact-rated hole saws (Sutton H119) are designed for use with impact drivers, which deliver intermittent rotational force that standard bi-metal saws are not designed to withstand. Only use impact-rated saws with impact drivers. Standard saws are for use with corded or cordless drills on low-torque settings.
