Sutton H203 400 x 32 mm Power Hacksaw Blade 6 TPI - All Hard HSS - Pack of 10

The Sutton H203 is an All Hard HSS power hacksaw blade (powersaw blade), 400 x 32 mm (16 x 1.25 in), in 6, 10 and 14 TPI. Blades are sold in packs of 10.

The blade is made from top quality high speed steel, hardened throughout. The All Hard HSS grade (colour code blue) is designed to cut even the most difficult materials with great accuracy, with consistent performance and long life. The pin hole centres are 8.2 mm.

Using the blade

• Check the blade length, width and pin hole dimension against the machine before ordering. The blade must match the machine blade holder.
• Choose the TPI so that at least 3 teeth are in contact with the work at all times. Use a coarser pitch for thick or large sections and a finer pitch for thin sections, tube and profiles.
• Fit the blade with the teeth facing the cutting direction of the machine and set the tension to the machine maker's instructions.
• Use cutting fluid or coolant as recommended for the material, and keep the feed steady so the blade is not overloaded.
• Replace the blade when it is worn rather than forcing a dull blade through the cut.
