Sutton D523 0012 HCS Forstner Drill Bit Set, 12 Piece, 10 to 35 mm

The Sutton D523 0012 is a 12 piece Power Groove Forstner bit set in high carbon steel (HCS), with 10 mm, 12 mm, 14 mm, 15 mm, 16 mm, 18 mm, 20 mm, 22 mm, 25 mm, 26 mm, 30 mm and 35 mm bits and a 1/4" hex shank. Each bit is 90 mm long overall. It is for drilling precise flat-bottomed, overlapping or partial holes with smooth sides in wood, MDF or chipboard.

The rim-guided edge drills cleanly without deflection and the centre point ensures an accurate start and prevents wandering. The smooth sides and flat bottom finish aid gluing dowels. The Power Groove enables use with quick-change adaptors, and the 1/4" hex shank is suited for use with most power drills. The 26 mm and 35 mm bits are suitable for installing Euro-style hinges.
