Thor dead-blow hammers have a coated die-cast aluminium alloy head with a rubber grip and screw-in White Nylon faces; tough Brown Polyurethane faces are also available for certain specialist applications (manufacturer-stated). A cavity inside the head is partly filled with steel shot, which adds to the weight and prevents rebound (manufacturer-stated).

Pick the face diameter and weight to suit the job: the four sizes run from a 38 mm face at 700 g (TH1212N) to a 63 mm face at 1850 g (TH2020N).
