M16 Jaw/jaw Turnbuckle, 316 Stainless Steel - TJJA4M16

Made in 316 (A4) stainless steel, the Turnbuckle, Jaw/Jaw is an adjustable tensioning fitting with a jaw at each end. Turning the open body tightens or loosens the line, and lock nuts hold the setting.

Supplied in 316 (A4) stainless steel. The molybdenum in A4 gives better resistance to chlorides than A2 (304), so it is the usual choice near the coast, around pools and in marine and food-processing environments. Metric sizes are written M followed by the nominal thread diameter in millimetres, so M10 is a 10 mm thread.

You can choose from 3 variants, covering sizes M4 to M20. Every size comes in packs of 10.

Austenitic stainless steel is generally non-magnetic, although cold-worked parts can show weak magnetism. Use stainless washers and nuts with stainless fasteners, so the whole joint is made of the same material.

Selecting the right option

Choose the turnbuckle by the thread size on the variant, and the end fittings you need to connect. Lubricate the threads with anti-seize and fully engage both ends.
