883 Insert Grade

• Relatively hard and still tough uncoated micrograin grade for machining of titanium in roughing applications and also suitable for superalloys.

M1 Chipbreaker Programme

• Chipbreaker intended for superalloys and titanium alloys.
• It has a positive cutting rake angle which is slightly honed to increase the edge strength. Also available with a perfectly sharp edge (type ..GG insert).
• The M1 is intended for light roughing and for semi-finishing.
• Indicative machining range: f = 0,2‚Äì0,4 mm/rev, ap = 1,5‚Äì5,0 mm.
