Wiha PicoFinish 3/16" x 160mm Hex Nut Driver
Available
Wiha PicoFinish® precision nut drivers are built for fine hex-nut and standoff work in electronics, instrumentation, and communications equipment. The hollow hex barrel engages nuts and standoffs cleanly without slipping. The dual-durometer handle gives palm-roll speed and torque-sensing feedback for controlled fastening on small hardware.
Where this tool is used
- Electronics assembly — PCB standoffs, terminal nuts, and connector locknuts in M2–M5 sizes are standard in panel and rack-mount equipment.
- Instrument and process analyser maintenance — hex nuts on terminal blocks, sensor housings, and cable glands require precise torque to avoid overtightening.
- Telecommunications and data-centre work — patch-panel and rack-mount hardware uses imperial and metric hex nuts for equipment mounting.

Selecting the right option
Match the hex size precisely — a loose fit will round the nut. For ESD-sensitive assemblies, select the ESD variant. PicoFinish® nut drivers are sized for hand-torque precision work; for higher torque requirements, the SoftFinish® nut driver range provides larger handles and longer reach.
Why Wiha?
Wiha has manufactured precision hand tools in Schonach, Germany since 1939. Every tool is produced in-house — steel selection, forging, heat treatment, tip grinding, and handle moulding — under one roof. That vertical integration is why Wiha can guarantee precise geometry, consistent hardness, and handle-to-blade balance that you can feel after a full shift. AIMS Industrial is your Australian source for the full Wiha range, with same-day despatch from Sydney and expert advice on tool selection for your application.
