The Yoke G100 eye foundry hook is a hook with an eye end and a wide throat. It is designed for assembling chain slings where a wide throat opening is needed. Foundry and heavy-industry crews use hooks like this on large load points. It comes in five chain sizes from 7 to 8mm to 20mm.

To check whether hooks without safety latches are permitted for your application before use. G100 means Grade 100, a higher strength class than Grade 80 (G80), so check the grade of your chain before you choose. Choose a foundry hook for a wide throat, and a latched or self-locking hook when the hook must stay closed.
