Trax Air Sanders

Trax air sanders are pneumatic sanders designed for workshop use with a compressor. Air sanders are preferred in paint and bodywork environments where spark-free operation and variable speed via air pressure control are important.

• Trax Air Orbital Sander: Pneumatic orbital sander for paint preparation and surface finishing in automotive bodywork and fabrication. Orbital action produces a swirl-free finish suitable for primer and topcoat preparation.
• Trax Air Palm Sander: Compact pneumatic sander for detail sanding, edge work and areas where a larger orbital sander is impractical. Accepts standard 1/4-sheet abrasive paper.
• Trax Air Longboard Sander: Extended pneumatic sander for finishing large flat panel surfaces. The longboard format distributes sanding pressure evenly over a larger area, reducing the risk of high spots in bodywork finishing applications.
• Trax Air Random Orbital Sander: Pneumatic random orbital sander with combined rotary and orbital motion for fast stock removal with minimal surface scratching. Used in automotive finishing and timber preparation.

Metabo Electric Sanders

Metabo electric sanders are corded professional-grade sanders for construction, trade and workshop applications where compressed air is not available or convenient.

• Metabo Random Orbital Sander: Professional corded random orbital sander for timber, composite panels and surface preparation. Accepts 125mm hook-and-loop abrasive discs. Variable speed control for matching sanding action to material.
• Metabo Delta Sander: Triangular-pad detail sander for finishing into corners, edges and profiles that cannot be reached by orbital or palm sanders. Used in joinery, cabinet making and finish carpentry.
• Metabo Belt Sander: Corded belt sander for fast stock removal on timber, painted surfaces and rough material. Belt sanders are the preferred tool for rapid material removal before switching to finer orbital or palm sanding.
• Metabo Drywall Sander: Long-reach corded sander designed for sanding plasterboard (drywall) seams and joints on walls and ceilings. The extended handle eliminates the need for scaffolding on standard ceiling heights.
• Sanding Kits: Sanding kits combine a sander with a selection of abrasive discs or sheets to provide a complete ready-to-use surface finishing solution. Kits are available for key Trax and Metabo sander models.
