Choosing auto lighting
Start with the job. Rear and side lighting for a trailer is a different part from a lamp that lights up the work area or the track ahead, so pick the function first and the model second. Check the voltage before you wire anything. Only the NSTL12 and NSTLNP12 state 12V in the title, so confirm the rating of the others on the data sheet. For variants, the side marker comes in four colours and the retro reflector in three colours and two sizes, so check the colour you need for the position you are fitting. Road-use lighting is regulated and the rules depend on the vehicle and the light type, so confirm the requirements for your vehicle before you fit. Always check the data sheet. Which light suits a trailer?
