Choosing B-Safe fall protection
Start with the job: the work position, anchor point, fall distance and who will use the gear. Choose the harness for how it will be used, such as general fall arrest, pole work or confined space entry, then match the lanyard or self retracting lanyard and the anchor to it. Check the rated capacity of each component and that the parts are compatible, and check the listing for sizes. Roofers kits bundle common items for roof work, so check each kit listing for what is included.
Fall protection equipment should be used by trained people, as part of a system planned for the job, and inspected before each use. Follow the manufacturer's instructions and your site rules, and replace equipment as they require.
