Choosing a control gun or valve

Start with the flow you need and the fittings on your hose or pump, then choose rigid or flexible extension for access. Digital and electronic models let you meter or preset a dispensed volume, which suits topping up to a set quantity, while the plain control guns and valves are simpler and are the better choice where you just need on and off control. Check the inlet thread and outlet nozzle against your existing hose. Always check the data sheet for flow rate, pressure rating and the fluids the gun is suitable for before you order.

Control Nozzle FAQs

What is an oil control gun?

It is a hand-held valve with a nozzle on the end of an oil delivery hose. You squeeze the trigger to start and stop the flow, and some models also meter or preset the volume dispensed.

What is the difference between a digital and a standard control gun?

Digital and electronic models measure the volume dispensed and, on preset models, stop at a set quantity. Standard control guns and valves control flow only. The listings state which type each one is.

Are these air blow guns?

No. These are fluid dispensing guns for oil and coolant. For compressed air blow guns and nozzles, see our pneumatics range.
