Choosing a locking assembly

Start with the shaft diameter and the hub bore, then the torque the connection has to carry. Each type has its own range of sizes, so pick the type first and then the variant that matches your shaft and hub. The titles give shaft diameter ranges only. Torque and axial load ratings, fit tolerances and tightening torques are not in the titles, so check the data sheet for each type. Always check the data sheet. It is the source for those figures, and we are happy to help you match a type to your application.
