Choosing a lockout tag
Choose a tag that matches how you use it. Disposable tags suit short jobs and can be thrown away when the lock is removed. Self laminating photo tags let you add a photo and details of the person who fitted the lock. Metal tags are made for long term identification, such as valve tagging. A tag identifies the lock. It does not replace the lock, so use it with a padlock and a lockout device.
