Choosing the right Brady product
If you are labelling pipework, start with the pipe markers and match the colour to the service. For signs, choose the sign type by the message you need to give: danger for the highest risk, warning for lesser hazards, lockout/tagout signs for isolation points, and traffic and parking signs for vehicle areas. Then check the size and the material, because the right option for an indoor wall is not always the right option outdoors.
For labelling that you print yourself, pick the printer first and buy ribbons, tapes and stock that match it. Printer accessories and consumables are listed by the printer they suit, so check the model before you order. What colours do Brady pipe markers come in?
Pipe markers are colour coded by service, for example white on light blue for air, white on orange for electrical, white on red for fire protection, black on sand for gases, white on brown for oils and black on silver-grey for steam. Each marker is listed by the service and colour.
What types of Brady safety padlock are available?
Brass safety padlocks with a 50mm shackle, steel padlocks, compact padlocks, nylon shackle and stainless shackle safety padlocks, and a compact cable padlock. Keyed alike and keyed different options are listed. Brady padlock labels are sold separately in packs of 6.
