Choosing a Retracta hose reel
Choose the reel by the fluid first, because air, water, oil, fuel and welding gas reels use different hose and fittings. Then match the hose bore and length to the job (for example 3/8 inch x 20m or 1/2 inch x 15m), and pick the mounting style: wall mounted R3 reels suit most workshop bays, while F-Series pedestal and cradle reels are listed for oil, diesel and combined fluid use. Check the working pressure and the fluid the reel is rated for before you order. If you already have hose, a bare reel gives you the reel only. See bare hose reels.
Always check the data sheet. Confirm the working pressure, temperature and fluid compatibility of the reel for your application before ordering.

What fluids can Retracta reels be used for?
We list Retracta reels for compressed air, water, hot water, oil, grease, diesel, welding gases, weedicide and pesticide, and urea. Each reel is listed for its own fluid, so choose the model that matches yours and check its data sheet.
What do R3 and F-Series mean?
R3 is the Retracta reel series used for most of our air, water, oil and gas reels. F-Series reels are the larger pedestal, cradle and combined fluid models listed for oil, diesel and water use. Check the product page for the exact model.
What hose sizes and lengths are available?
Our listings include 3/16, 1/4, 3/8, 1/2, 3/4, 1 and 1 1/2 inch hose reels and lengths from 8m to 25m, depending on the model. Welding gas reels are listed with 5mm x 20m hose.
Do you have bare reels without hose?
Yes. We list F-Series cradle combined reels as bare reels and a 3/4 inch oil/water/air reel without hose. See also our bare hose reels.
Can I get a reel for welding gases?
Yes. We list R3 oxy and acetylene reels, an oxy and LPG reel, and 5mm x 20m argon and LPG welding gas reels.
Do you stock fittings and nozzles for Retracta reels?
