AAP slip-on forged flange

This AAP slip-on forged flange is made from forged steel to BS10 Table D. It is supplied in one size, 4" (100mm). A slip-on flange slides over the end of the pipe and is fillet welded to it. It is easier to align than a weld neck flange and suits general pipework. Forged steel flanges are commonly specified in the oil, gas, petrochemical and mining sectors, where pressure, temperature and safety considerations are higher. They are hot forged and then machined.

That table is headed for plate flanges.

Choosing the right option

Check the pipe outside diameter against the flange bore before ordering. Match the standard and table or class to the mating flange and compare the drilling dimensions, because flanges made to different standards are not interchangeable. Gaskets and bolting are not included.
