This AAP 90 degree threaded elbow is a 316/316L stainless steel forged fitting with NPT thread. It is supplied in 8 sizes, 1/4 in (8 mm) to 2 in (50 mm).
A 90 degree elbow turns a pipe run through a right angle. This one is threaded inside at both ends (female by female). A is the centre to end dimension and B is the outside diameter, both lettered on the AAP drawing.
AAP rates its stainless steel high pressure fittings at 3000 lb (manufacturer-stated) and lists them as 316/316L stainless steel to ASTM A182. AAP does not say which material its pressure and temperature chart covers, so AIMS does not quote it for stainless steel. Confirm the pressure rating at your operating temperature with AIMS before you order.

Selecting the right option
Choose the size and thread to match your pipework (NPT or BSPT cannot be mixed), and check the thread gender at each end against the fitting it joins.
