This AAP galvanised malleable iron oval flange is a hot dip galvanised fitting with BSP threads. It is supplied in 6 sizes, 1/2 in (15 mm) to 2 in (50 mm).
An oval flange is a threaded flange plate with an oval outline and two bolt holes, as drawn. It screws onto a male threaded pipe to give a flat mounting face. AAP does not state the hole size or hole spacing, so confirm these with AIMS before you order if they must match your fixing.
AAP states that these fittings are made to EN 10242:1994 (manufacturer-stated), in blackheart malleable cast iron and delivered hot dip galvanised (manufacturer-stated). AAP states that each fitting is pressure tested to EN 10242 at a minimum hydrostatic pressure of 2068 kPa (equivalent to a minimum pneumatic pressure of 500 kPa) without leakage (manufacturer-stated). AAP recommends a maximum working pressure of 1379 kPa for water and 1034 kPa for gas, steam and compressed air (manufacturer-stated). Working pressures may also be limited by pressure piping codes or industry regulations, so confirm the pressure and temperature for your application with AIMS before you order.

A is the length and B the thickness, as lettered on the AAP drawing, in millimetres. AAP letters C beside a thickness on its drawing, but the table values (55 to 110 mm) are too large for a thickness, so C is shown as printed and AIMS is confirming it with AAP. Weights are approximate, in kilograms per piece.
