Common specifications

Key specifications

Grit, diameter and pack quantity are from the Abbott & Ashby catalogue (2025) p30. Grit classes and listed uses come from the grit guide in the Abbott & Ashby catalogue (p30).

Selecting the right option

The four packs differ only in grit, so choose the grit. A higher grit number is a finer abrasive, and the table gives the catalogue grit class for each pack. The discs are used with a hook and loop backing pad such as the AABPV/175, listed separately, as is the mixed-grit hook and loop pack.
