Beaver Single Ply Endless Flat Sling, 2 m, 2,000 kg WLL (ES-1-2000X2)
Available
This Beaver single ply endless flat sling is a continuous loop of polyester webbing, 2 m long with a WLL of 2,000 kg (code ES-1-2000X2), 60 mm wide, in white. Beaver states that it is manufactured to AS 1353.1 and describes endless flat slings as all-purpose lifting slings that give a strong, non-damaging lift.
Beaver says the sling covers a broad support area that cushions the load against damage and reduces slipping, and that the low stretch of the polyester webbing helps prevent load bounce when hoisting very heavy weights.
Where this product is used
- General purpose lifting where a non-damaging lift is needed, as Beaver describes the sling (manufacturer-stated)
- Lifting polished or finished surfaces where a broad, cushioning support area helps protect the load (manufacturer-stated)

- Test certificate available on request (manufacturer-stated)
- Colour coded by WLL (manufacturer-stated)
Loading factors
Beaver's manual gives the working load limit under general conditions of use as the marked WLL for a straight lift, with loading factors of 0.8 for a choked lift and 2 for a parallel basket (two legs, vertical). Other arrangements, such as a basket hitch at an angle, multi-leg slings and choke wraps, have their own loading factors in Beaver's manual and the relevant standards, so confirm the capacity with a qualified rigger before you lift.
Care and use
- Never overload the sling, and check the use and inspection guidelines in the relevant standards (as Beaver advises, manufacturer-stated)
- Inspect the sling for damage before each use, and do not use it if the ID tag has been removed or is illegible
- Do not use the sling if there is any sign of cut webbing, snagging, heat or chemical damage, excessive wear, damaged seams or any other defect, or if grit or abrasive material is present
- Do not tie knots in the sling, and protect it from the sharp edges of the load with protective sleeves
- Do not expose the sling to temperatures above 90 degrees C
- Consult the manufacturer before immersing a sling in a chemical solution, and keep it away from strong alkalis and phenolic compounds
This list is summarised from the care and use notes in Beaver's Materials Handling Technical Manual (Vol. 4).
Key specifications
| WLL (kg) | Colour | Width (mm) | Lengths in this listing (m) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2,000 | White | 60 | 2 |
Codes, WLLs, lengths, widths and colours are from Beaver's Materials Handling Technical Manual (Vol. 4) and the Beaver website. WLL is the marked working load limit for a straight lift. Beaver does not say how length is measured on its slings, so confirm it with Beaver if length is critical for your lift.
Selecting the right option
Choose the WLL for your lift and the arrangement (straight, choked or basket), then choose the length that suits the load and the lifting points. Check that every other part of the lift (shackles, hooks and master links) is rated for the load. Lifting equipment must be used within its marked working load limit (WLL), inspected before each use, and selected and used in line with your site lifting procedure and the relevant Australian Standards. If you are unsure what suits your lift, contact AIMS or a qualified rigger before ordering.
