Beaver grade 80 component connectors, size (mm) 6

Beaver Grade 80 component connectors (couplers) suit 6mm to 32mm Grade 80 chain, with working load limits (WLL) of 1,100kg (1.1 t) to 31,500kg (31.5 t). Each connector is two symmetrical die-forged halves joined by a heavy duty stud and pin, so it can be separated when needed, and it is a conventional style chain connector.

Its Grade 80 lifting components are made from heat treated alloy steel, are tested throughout manufacture, and meet AS 3776, Lifting Components for Grade T Chain Slings. They carry distinguishing marks, including the brand, grade and size and a date of manufacture and batch ID.

Chain size is the Grade 80 chain size the component suits.

Choose the size by the WLL and the chain size it must match, and make sure every part of the assembly (chain, link, hook and lifting point) is Grade 80 and rated for the load. Lifting equipment must be used within its marked working load limit (WLL), inspected before each use, and selected and used in line with your site lifting procedure and the relevant Australian Standards.
