BF12 Bolt On Hub, 1210 Taper Lock Bush, A 120 mm

Taper lock bolt on hubs in sizes BF12 to BF30, for taper lock bushes 1210 to 3020. They are designed for use with taper lock bushes, and they provide a convenient means of securing impellers, agitators, fan motors and other devices firmly to shafts.

Bolt on hubs are used wherever welding is not possible or not permitted. Parts can be mounted on either the left or the right hand side of the hub. The table below lists the bush number and the A, B, C, D, E, R, G and H dimensions and the bolt holes for each size.

Selecting and fitting

Choose the hub by the taper lock bush it takes, and by the bolt pattern and flange size that suit the part you are securing. Where welding is allowed, the weld on hubs are on Weld On Hub, Taper Bore, W Series, W12 to W50 and Weld On Hub, Taper Bore, WH Series, WH12 to WH35.

Fit the bush into the hub and tighten the bush screws evenly to the bush manufacturer's torque. Use bolts and nuts that suit the hole diameter listed for the size.
