Bordo HSS-Co5 cobalt step tip drill sets give fabricators, maintenance crews and tradespeople a ready-made kit of larger-diameter drills that fit a standard 13 mm (1/2 in) chuck. The step tip drills without a pilot hole in metals, saving a tool change on every hole.
Each drill is made from 5% cobalt high speed steel (HSS-Co5) with a flatted 1/2 in reduced shank to stop chuck slip, and a bronze (gold oxide) finish that identifies it as a cobalt tool. Choose from an imperial 5/8–1 in set or metric 14–25 mm and 16–25 mm sets.
