The Bossweld 45% Silver Brazing Alloy is a high-silver brazing rod for non-ferrous metal joining and repair work. The 45% silver content gives excellent fluidity and high joint strength.

It brazes at a lower temperature, around 700 degrees Celsius, which allows controlled heat input. It comes in 1.6 mm diameter, in a 1 kg packet or a handy pack of 6 sticks.

Selecting the right option

The flux-coated version, the 45% SBA Flux Coated, is listed separately for work where you want flux already on the rod. Check with AIMS whether you need to add flux for your metals. Brazing and soldering fumes can be harmful, so work with good ventilation or fume extraction and check the safety data sheet for the exact composition. If you are unsure which alloy suits your base metals and joint, contact AIMS with the metals and the joint you are making.
