The Bossweld Long Alumina Cup comes in 3 options (size 5, size 6 and size 7) and fits 17, 18 and 26 series TIG torches. Each option is supplied in a pack of 2.

The long alumina cup has an extended profile for better access in confined joints and tight weld areas. It directs the shielding gas over the weld pool and insulates the torch head like a standard cup.

Selecting the right option

Pick the cup series to match your torch (17/18/26 or 9/20), then the size to suit the joint: a larger cup gives wider gas coverage, and a smaller cup gives access in tight corners. Alumina is a ceramic, so replace a cup that is cracked or chipped. If you are unsure which cup suits your torch, contact AIMS with the torch model before ordering.
