Bossweld 40 A Plasma Tip suits plasma torches that use the 96.51318 series tip. It is a 40 A tip, part 96.51318.09. It is supplied as a pack of 5.

The tip, also called the nozzle, holds the small orifice that squeezes the plasma arc into a tight, hot jet. The bore size is matched to the cutting current. A worn tip gives a rough or angled cut, a wider kerf or an oval hole, so replace it before the orifice is badly worn, normally together with a new electrode.
