The Bossweld TIG Welding Rod Aluminium Alloy 5356 is a 5% magnesium aluminium alloy TIG filler that gives increased strength and toughness. It is classified AWS A5.10 ER5356 (manufacturer-stated) and produces strong, tough welds in marine, tubing, thin sheet, tank, checker plate and general fabrication work.
It suits 5xxx series aluminium alloys. It comes in 1.6 mm, 2.4 mm and 3.2 mm diameters in 0.45 kg and 5 kg packs.
