The Bossweld Tip Nut suits the standard Bossweld cutting attachment. It is the nut that holds the cutting tip in the head of the attachment, so it seals the tip and keeps it tight while the torch is cutting.
The nut sits right at the working end of the torch, where it takes heat, spatter and knocks. Threads that are damaged or worn, or a nut that will not seal, are reasons to replace it, because a poor seal lets gas leak at the tip.
