The Bossweld Tobin Bronze Flux Coated Welding Rod 5 kg Packet is a flux-coated bronze brazing rod that promotes clean joints and effective oxide removal, and is a low-fuming alloy that reduces smoke during heating. It is classified AWS A5.8 RBCuZn-A (manufacturer-stated) and produces ductile, corrosion-resistant deposits for durable maintenance joints.

It is suited to fusion and braze welding of brass, bronze and copper alloys, and comes in 2.4 mm and 3.2 mm diameters in a 5 kg pack. It is flux coated.

Selecting the right option

Choose the diameter to suit the joint and the heat you are working with. The flux is on the rod, so you can start brazing without adding flux. Brazing and soldering fumes can be harmful, so work with good ventilation or fume extraction and check the safety data sheet for the exact composition.
