The NUCF series is the cylindrical roller cam follower: double rows of full complement cylindrical rollers in the outer ring take large radial loads, and the outer ring is guided axially by the outer ring shoulder and the end faces of the cylindrical rollers. A cam follower is a bearing with a stud, with cylindrical rollers inside a thick-walled outer ring. The outer ring rotates and runs directly on the mating track (cam guide surface), so cam followers suit cam mechanisms and linear motions and are used in machine tools, industrial robots, electronic devices and office automation (OA) equipment.
In the part number, the number is the stud diameter in mm; B is the hexagon hole in the stud head, and R is the crowned outer ring (no R is cylindrical). Every model on this page is shield type, full complement, crowned outer ring.

Length B1 is the overall length with the stud; where marked max it is a maximum. C is the basic dynamic load rating and C0 the basic static load rating. Mass is for the product body only: the nut, grease nipple and other accessories are not included.
Selecting the right option
Pick the outside diameter of the outer ring (dimension D, in mm) in the options above: the stud size, thread and ratings follow from the model number shown in the Model Details. All sizes on this page are stud types with a hexagon hole in the stud head and full complement cylindrical rollers.
Some stud sizes come with more than one outer ring, so check the diameter against your cam track: 22 mm OD and 26 mm OD (NUCF10BR and NUCF10-1BR); 30 mm OD and 32 mm OD (NUCF12BR and NUCF12-1BR); 47 mm OD and 52 mm OD (NUCF20-1BR and NUCF20BR); and others in the size table.
Match the stud diameter and thread to your mounting hole and nut: the Model Details list the thread, the thread length and the hexagon hole size.
This page is the crowned outer ring type (R in the part number). The crowned ring is effective in moderating the edge load caused by mounting errors, and it is the type to use if the outer ring does not make good contact with the mating running surface.
Fitting and use
Make the centre axis of the mounting hole perpendicular to the direction of travel and match the stud shoulder accurately with the seating surface given by dimension f (min.) in the Model Details. Keep the chamfer on the mounting hole as small as possible (C0.5 or so), and do not hit the flange head directly with a hammer, because that can lead to irregular rotation or cracking.
Hold the hexagon hole with a hex key and tighten the nut with a spanner: turning the hexagon hole itself to tighten can damage it. Do not exceed the maximum tightening torque in the Model Details, because an over-tightened thread can break. Where loosening is possible, use a lock nut, spring washer or self-locking nut.
The mark on the flange head shows the oil hole position on the raceway: keep the oil hole out of the loading zone. The recommended mounting hole tolerance for the stud is H7.
