ClayTech CLA BLUESUB10 Blue SUB10 Light Construction Pump with Float

The ClayTech Blue SUB10 is a submersible light construction pump with a float switch, made for dewatering construction sites and pits and for general dewatering where there is abrasive material. It is rated at 750 W with a maximum flow of 250 L/min and a maximum head of 18 m (manufacturer-stated).

It has a cast iron hydraulic body, a single urethane-coated impeller and dual mechanical seals in an oil bath, and it handles particles up to 10 x 25 mm (manufacturer-stated). The flexible float switch starts and stops the pump with the water level. The outlet is 3 inch with a 45 degree elbow to a 2 inch camlock (manufacturer-stated).

Selecting the right option

The manual states that the pump must not run for longer than 10 minutes partially submerged, must not run dry, should not start more than 20 times in any one hour, and must not be used with flammable or corrosive fluids. It should be supplied through an RCD (manufacturer-stated).
