ClayTech CLA BLUEDIVER C30A BlueDiver C30A Pump with Aquatron Controller, 36 m Head

The ClayTech BlueDiver C30A and C40A pair a BlueDiver high-head submersible pump, with a float that starts and stops it by water level, with an Aquatron pressure controller. The supplier says this turns the pump into an automatic pressure system suited to normal household tap operation, including domestic toilets, a washing machine and external garden taps (manufacturer-stated).

The C30A is rated at 650 W (P2) with a 36 m maximum head and the C40A at 750 W (P2) with a 46 m maximum head, both at 95 L/min maximum flow (manufacturer-stated). The Aquatron controller starts the pump when a tap is turned on and stops it about 10 seconds after the tap is turned off. It stops the pump when there is no flow, which protects it from running dry, and the FAILURE LED on the front of the controller shows that alarm (manufacturer-stated).

The Aquatron data sheet lists a 240 V, 50 Hz supply, a maximum current of 10 A, a maximum power of 1.1 kW, a starting pressure setting of 1.8 bar, a maximum working pressure of 10 bar, a 1 inch male connection thread and IP65 protection (manufacturer-stated).

Selecting the right option

Choose by the head you need: 36 m for the C30A or 46 m for the C40A. If you already have a controller, the same pumps are sold on their own in the BlueDiver C30 and C40 submersible pumps. The controller can also be bought separately as the Aquatron2P pump controller.
