Storage and handling

Protect from sunlight and do not expose to temperatures exceeding 50 °C. Store in a cool, dry, well ventilated area. The can is a pressurised container.

Limits and safety

Warning. Dangerous good: UN 1950, Aerosols, Class 2.2. The safety data sheet gives a poison schedule of Schedule 5 (S5). It classifies this product as hazardous: pressurised container, may burst if heated; causes skin irritation; causes serious eye irritation; may cause drowsiness or dizziness; suspected of causing cancer. It is not classified as an environmental hazard. When heated to decomposition it may give off toxic gases (chlorides, phosgene, carbon oxides, hydrocarbons). Keep away from oxidising agents (for example hypochlorites), acids, alkalis, metals, heat and ignition sources.
