The CSK Undercut Self Tapping Screw Phillips, A2 (304) Stainless Steel is available in 8 sizes (8G to 10G) and is a countersunk head screw with an undercut head and a Phillips recess. The undercut head is a self-tapping type used for fixing into thin metal, plastics and timber.

The A2 (304) stainless material suits indoor, fresh water and typical outdoor use. Where the fastening is exposed to salt air, pool chemicals or marine conditions, A4 (316) is the grade to use instead. Gauge sizes are shown as a number followed by G. On this range 6G is 3.5 mm, 8G is 4.2 mm, 10G is 4.8 mm, 12G is 5.5 mm and 14G is 6.3 mm, as listed by the supplier.

You can choose from 8 variants, covering sizes 8G to 10G and lengths 13 mm to 25 mm. Pack quantities depend on size: packs of 500 to 1000.

Stainless threads can gall (seize) when tightened under load or at speed. A smear of anti-seize on the thread and a steady tightening speed reduce the risk.
