M5 Diamond Eye Pad, 316 Stainless Steel - DEPA4M5

Made in 316 (A4) stainless steel, the Diamond Eye Pad is a diamond-shaped, flat-based fitting with a closed eye on top. It is bolted or welded to a surface to give an anchor point for rope, wire or a shackle.

The A4 (316) grade is stainless steel with added molybdenum, which helps it hold up where salt, pool chemicals or washdown chemicals are present. It is the more corrosion-resistant of the two common stainless grades, at a higher cost than 304.

In wet conditions, keep stainless steel apart from aluminium and galvanised steel with a washer or sleeve, to reduce the risk of galvanic corrosion.
