Supplied as Buttweld. Rated to 1000 PSI NSCWP, so you can match it to line pressure with confidence. Service temperature -20°F to 250°F (-29°C to 121°C), suitable for the conditions on real industrial sites. Used on low pressure manifolds and lines and in applications running air, water, oil or gas up to 1000 PSI NSCWP (non-shock cold working pressure). Yellow sub, black nut. Hammer unions work at extremely high pressures. Mismatching components of one series with another (i.e. series 602 with series 1502) can lead to destruction of property, serious bodily injury or death. Pressure rating given at ambient temperature 70°F/21°C.
