Dixon Nylon ply SBR insertion rubber, 1.5mm

This Dixon natural insertion sheet rubber has a nylon ply reinforcement, which gives it a higher tear strength than ordinary rubber sheeting. It comes in three thicknesses (1.5, 6 and 10mm), each in a 1200mm wide, 10 m roll. The material is SBR and gives these figures: tensile strength 40 ± 5kg/cm², hardness Shore A 65 ± 5, specific gravity 1.5 ± 0.05, minimum elongation 250%, and a temperature range of -20°C to 60°C.

• Matting, packing, gaskets, dust curtains and mud flaps
• Cutting gaskets, mats and packing from a reinforced sheet, in the thickness that suits the job

Choosing the right option

Choose the thickness from the job: the 1.5mm roll is a single ply and the 6 and 10mm rolls are two ply. The weight per 10 m roll rises with thickness, so plan the handling for the heavier rolls.
