Dixon 5204K1 Poppet O-Ring Baylast Suits 5204 API Valve

This is the Baylast poppet O-ring for Dixon 5204 API bottom-loading valves. In Dixon's 5204 bill of materials it is the sealing ring on the poppet inside the valve (item 16A), and the part is sold on its own as a single O-ring (manufacturer-stated).

Dixon's 2026 catalogue lists the same part number in the replacement parts for both the 5204 series (overseas pattern) and the 5206 series (Australia and New Zealand pattern) API valves (manufacturer-stated). Baylast is Dixon's own seal material.

Key specifications

Selecting the right option

Use this part when the poppet O-ring is the only seal that needs replacing. If the valve is being overhauled, Dixon lists a complete rebuild kit (5204K2) that includes the poppet O-ring with the other O-rings and bearings. Valves with FKM seals use the FKM poppet O-ring 5204KV1, and valves with PTFE encapsulated seals use the PTFE kit (5204K6). Check which seal your valve has before ordering.
