Dy-Mark Fast-drying chlorinated brake and parts cleaner

Dy-Mark Protech Brake & Parts Cleaner (chlorinated) is a fast-drying aerosol cleaner for removing brake fluid, grease, oil and other contaminants from brake linings, pads, drums and other metal parts, in a 500g can.

It cleans without disassembling the brake unit, is non-staining and non-corrosive, leaves no residue and does not contain carbon tetrachloride, silicones, CFC113 or methyl chloroform. It uses a 360° valve for upright and inverted use and has a very fast evaporation rate. Recommended uses include disc brakes, clutch plates, drum brakes, forklifts, linings, calipers, pads, industrial machinery and other metal parts. Warnings from Dy-Mark: it is formulated for industrial use only and contains both methylene chloride and perchloroethylene, which are suspected of causing cancer. Do not spray on hot or running engines or painted surfaces, do not contact battery terminals or the starter solenoid, and avoid prolonged exposure to rubber. It has non-chlorinated version as an alternative.
