Beaver's catalogue also lists splash work (manufacturer-stated).

The data sheet lists a lightweight impact resistant shell, a wide vision anti-scratch visor with UV protection, a ratchet adjustable brow guard for comfort and fit, a terry towelling headband absorber and a chin guard (manufacturer-stated). Beaver's catalogue gives the visor UV protection as 99.9% (manufacturer-stated).

Check your site's procedure on whether safety glasses or goggles must also be worn under a face shield. Sold individually, with a carton of 12. The replacement visor is sold separately. The sources do not say the shield suits molten metal, welding or chemical splash, so it is not described as suitable for them.
