Frontier Terrycord Gloves, 10 cm Canvas Cuff, Large (FRTERRYCDWW010L)

The Frontier Terrycord glove is made from 26 oz cotton terrycord, can be reversed for longer life and has a canvas cuff. Frontier's data sheets list cut level 3 protection and good heat resistance (manufacturer-stated). The data sheets give EN 388 2342, which is abrasion 2, blade cut 3, tear 4 and puncture 2 (manufacturer-stated). It comes with a 10 cm or a 15 cm cuff.

Beaver's sources give different EN 407 heat results for this glove, and the lower result is used here: the data sheets show XXXXXX, which means no heat level was rated. Check the glove against your heat hazard before you rely on it, and do not use it for molten metal. Frontier lists applications as refining, metal finishing, automotive, foundries and mining, materials handling, oven work and bakeries, and food processing (manufacturer-stated). The EN 388 result (manufacturer-stated) is read in the order abrasion, blade cut, tear and puncture, and a higher number is a higher level. A 0 means the glove did not reach level 1, and an X means that test was not done. Match the glove to your risk assessment, check the fit, and replace gloves that are worn, torn or contaminated. The ratings are test results on the glove material and do not describe every hazard on your site.
