Garrick Grade 80 chain slings are two-leg slings with latch type hooks, made from Grade 80 chain and fitted with two shorteners that use G80 shortening grab hooks. They are available in 8 mm, 10 mm and 13 mm chain, in lengths of 2, 3, 4 and 6 m.
The manufacturer lists AS 3775.1 as the approved standard.

Working load limits are as published by the manufacturer. Always check the rating marked on the sling tag and the test certificate for the angle and configuration of your lift.
Selecting the right option
Select by chain size first, as the WLL is set by the chain size, then by length. Use the WLL for the angle between the legs that matches your lift, and never exceed the rating marked on the sling. Lifting equipment must be used within its marked working load limit (WLL), inspected before each use, and selected and used in line with your site lifting procedure and the relevant Australian Standards.
